Workshop Angel captures contact details through people booking onto your activities. You are able to get permission for them to be on your mailing list through the Mailing Permission question.

You can also add to your contact list by placing a "Join our mailing list" link on your website, using a link available on the Settings - Brand Settings page.

You can send marketing emails to your mailing list using Workshop Angel, or you may prefer to use Mailchimp.

This lesson is about how to export contact details to Mailchimp.

Quick Summary

Details - Finding the Contacts to Export

Use the search function in the Contacts area of Workshop Angel to find your list of contacts:

All the contacts who have subscribed to your mailing list will be listed. We will be sending all of them to Mailchimp, and letting Mailchimp work out which ones have already been added.

Creating the List for Mailchimp

You will now have a list of your selected contacts on the right screen.

This will copy the list of names and email addresses to your clipboard, for you to paste into the Mailchimp import screen.

Importing the Contacts into MailChimp

In Mailchimp:

This will bring up a page where you can paste your contact list:

You can then use the following Mailchimp functions to manage the name list and have the new ones be added to your mailchimp list!
